When you think about it we may end up owing Whitey Bulger a thank you. If his trial had not delayed everything we may already be at the point where the PTAB squashed WDDD. Because of the delay we now have a potential SCOTUS decision that may help us along with a supposed change in how PTAB conducts business. Like Rain says I will believe it when I see it, but the timing is quite good.

Also do not underestimate the importance of a new administration coming in. There are people namely Ms Lee that would like to keep their job and imo that is the real genesis for this supposed kinder gentler PTAB. They will have to walk the walk to back up the talk, but at least that is something. The timing of Oct/ Nov ruling from the PTAB could not be more perfect for us and politically for Ms Lee.

If Ms Lee doesn't think twice about screwing someone over to please her corporate master Google then she probably would not hesitate for a second to stick it to ATVI if it means she keeps her cushy govt job for at least another 4 years.

Before I moved to CA last summer I lived about 3 miles from Whitey's home in the Winter Hill section of Somerville, MA. That whole part of town always gave me the creeps because it is so depressing haha. Kind of ironic that the degenerate psychopath might be doing me a favor indirectly.
