I disagree. One of the BoD's primary responsibilities is to protect shareholder's value. I know they haven't done that.
The Science committee's duties include "Consults with and advises management on the strategy, focus and direction of our research and development, clinical programs and initiatives, as well as competitive and other factors that may affect those programs and initiatives." I think that kind of important. Well, they didn't even meet in 2015, not once. ZERO times. Read the revised 10K just posted.
The majority of this BoD voted to pay out HB and rate him as exceeding expectations in 2014. Denner was on that Board, not sure how he voted, but I know HB got paid. Worse, much worse, instead of booting the whole BoD when Denner found evidence of their 'breach of fiduciar responsibilities', he made a deal enriching himself alone, not us.
The company needs competent, honest advisors with real integrity on that BoD, perhaps with the ability to find their way to an Annual meeting. We don't have them. Ariad would be a much better company with a cleaned out BoD house, and competent replacements.
The BoD overpaid themselves and the CEO, they breached their fiduciary responsibilities, they doctored their records and coerced and bought off their accuser...I want THE TRUTH!!!
