Greg: just because the material appeared in Japanese does not mean that it is unreliable. I could not ascertain the full context of the discussion from the awkward English translation, but I was able to glean enough to get the essential elements.

In any case, Sony’s “Banias Celeron” was evidently a one-time product and there seems to be no need for a similar custom design now that INTC is covering all the bases with off-the-shelf options. Regards, Dew
