Direxion Daily Gold Miners Be (DUST)

man i know that i'm new, has been months studying charts and technical analysis, i know that i was in early, but my first time in dust was march 16, the day that Yellen "beach" talk and DUST was down $1.13 touching $3 (i call that day - DAY 1 - of my misery).....i have just one question, is all of this make sense??? i truthfully want to know if i'm wrong and know nothing about what i studied, or all this scenarios are too damn crazy???
