I wouldn't discount this observation.

Maybe someone with "settlement" experience could chime in,but it seems to me that if this was settled,wouldn't the parties ask the court to delay the public release of the news pending both side's review and preparation for a public announcement by both parties,simultaneously?

The court is simply the final official action of record. This isn't a Judge pronouncing something...a verdict. It's a joint exercise.

That would then Eliminate speculation like what's going on today?

I would think the court would issue a final "settled" check box AFTER both parties have addressed their respective stakeholders.

Seems abit upside down.

Or maybe it is settled,but the Court reporter, in error,released the information before both parties had requested?

Now KB will be INUNDATED with calls and an unbelievable amount of speculation will fly...

And if there is a 90 day cap on any discussion,per both parties,the declaration of settlement from the court should have come on that date,no?
