If what your are saying holds true, you would think products like sativex would be popular in medical marijuana jurisdictions. In canada nobody uses sativex. Patients and doctors both prefer getting dried marijuana or oil from dispensaries or LPs. These drugs will be outcompeted in any jurisdiction there is legal medical marijuana. Once you prove it works for condition A, why would I buy your expensive pharmaceutical when I can get just as effective a product from other producers for much cheaper.

Medical marijuana is a consumer market. Looking at current pharmaceutical preparations of cannabinoids they do poorly when patients have choice of other products.

You can try sativex, only available with one strain or choose from 10 different varieties (one of which will probably work better than sativex) all of which are 1/10 the cost. As a consumer which would you try?

If 100 people try 10 strains 60 might find relief. If 100 people try 1 strain 30 might find relief. Granted these numbers are from my ass but I think you will find a pattern like this. Consumers are controlling the medical marijuana market.

I work in this industry, I make cannabis oils currently being used by patients. My products will have been well established in the marketplace before they get into humans. And all those retained terpenes too...

Here check them out...
