I obviously have no inside info but it is inference.

K has been touted as holy grail of P53 - presented few times in ASCO- Leo issued big PRs - literally no one took notice

I personally contacted some top scientist in P53 area and also contacted the science reporter covering P53. Sent them all references and PR from ASCO - it drew blank response - one said not enough evidence or supporting study

No major scientific outlet covered it - so it is becoming clear that those who saw it did not find sufficient evidence to care about it.

We can draw same conclusion about BP - these groups are successful in identifying promising companies and acquiring - the fact that after so much touting - K has not seen any movement shows that it does not hold much promise in eyes of BP - else it could fetch the few Bs like today.
