VRTX has walled off the CF competition by having the only potentiator on the market. But Kalydeco may soon be facing better potentiators from CNCE and GLPG who each has one in a P2. GLPG has 2 correctors lined up to combo their potentiator with while CNCE is seeking to partner their deuterated Ivacaftor with a partner who has their own correctors. If you think those potentiators will fall short then VRTX should do very well because Kalydeco will eventually combo up with better correctors. VRTX's 1st combo attempt of lumacaftor/Ivacaftor has been a disappointment because it has shown only a small improvement over Kalydeco treatment alone.
