Alan, you may want to read the Notice of Annual Meeting of Shareholders in the Proxy materials on the Sigma website before you make the drive. The notice states that only stockholders of record at the close of business on March 3 2016 are entitled to notice of and to vote at the Annual Meeting. And that a complete list of stockholders entitled to vote will be available at the Annual Meeting.

Since you just bought shares from someone who may have held the shares on March 3 and may have already voted those shares, I'm not sure you are now 100% legitimate. Not being on the list, you might not get in. Just want you to be fully informed of the risk.
