max, i saw your post and thought I would add a little fuel to the fire..

maybe I am "special" LOL... but I received the following

Hi Paul… I'm not sure what "recent decisions" you're talking about, but we've put out some good news lately for our growth overseas and had our best 4th quarter (and year) ever. Did people forget that already?

We don't normally webcast the annual meeting, but I can request this for the future. We look forward to full participation on the Q1 call, just as we had an active Q4 one!

Best,

-Chris

to which I responded

The specific recent decisions that are the most opaque is the 100 to 1 reverse split and the timing. This is a massive reduction in shares, and given the market's general knee jerk reaction to reverse splits, it is unclear WHY the board decided that this was the action most likely to enhance shareholder value, particularly given the risk of a negative reaction. Without indications for very rapidly increasing revenues and profits in the immediate timeframe, this is a puzzling decision. Given that there have not been immediate announcements of contracts for sales, rather than announcements for alliances which may very well lead to future contracts, I am at a loss to explain why the action was taken at this time or Mark's comments in the last conference call that now was the time to do this and that it would not "languish".

It is not just the decision to have a reverse split, but also the timing decision. What are the thoughts of the BoD as to how this is likely to increase shareholder value. What were the alternative decisions rejected, such as waiting until there was announcements of contracts, revenues and profits which would have increased the pps, thus requiring a more modest reverse split.

shoot, it would be a good thing if they would even post a transcript if they are not prepared to set up a little camera and post the whole shareholder meeting to youtube or the the investors section of their own website...not too much to ask

patience and GLTA
