Obviously some people still care about the cell, and everyone should care about a third party eviscerating the patent application in the way it was. If Nelson was so sloppy and unprofessional to not even correct grammatical mistakes while he was going around talking about how he was going to change the economics of energy, why should people trust him to do anything else? Instead he gives himself and his friends bonuses and lucrative financing offers that dilute shareholders while they enrich themselves.


The only success story in this company comes from Abe and the execs at SUNWorks, the company even says Nelson has no idea how to run an installation business. Given what the patent examiner said about the cell, it seems Nelson is either a massive liar or he was scammed by the guys he paid to do all the research. They couldn't even articulate what it was they had invented in the application, which is a fundamental requirement.
