Just was thinking how most investors get two things very wrong:

1) The best time to buy is before the big run up. For CTIX, now may be that time for some. Me, I already have a bunch. And, I have added a wee bit. Watching stocks run, puts me in a selling mood. Short term I know most stocks will run to overbought, then give back a good portion or all. Mistake #1 is buying at the top. Remember the adage, "Buy low and sell high".

2) #1 may not be a mistake if one has done proper due diligence, and is willing to ride out a cycle or more. This is for the long term investor: Buying on early big runs may be the right time to buy. Mistake #2 is for long term investors to get overly preoccupied with day to day, week to week, stock price movement. The mistake is losing focus of the due diligence that one relied on when buying. Watch the fundamentals over the short term technical. For me, I have a very long term CTIX position (along with a short term position).

Got to know what one's strategy is. Don't confuse short term trading and long term investing.

I really don't understand most of the negative posts by some. But, I think they have confused investing/trading strategies. And, many with confused strategies will also have confused their technical analysis.
