You did good today then. I've seen too many times people buy the dips only to see support broken. Then for some reason, they average down never to reach their initial investment. I think it's best to enter and exit all at once and hold no longer than a week at a time. Sometimes I will exit with my starting cash and hold the free shares though but that's my strategy
