Fact is the value of the patents (not VPLM, the patents themselves) is too speculative to attract a buyer or place fear in the hearts of any tech company. Nobody knows if they are enforceable (I personally don't think they are, and I doubt I'm alone), and won't know until a court actually litigates them. That's why IMO VPLM has tried to do whatever it can to sell/license them WITHOUT going to court, because then it's a total crap shoot with long odds and they risk having their patents devalued altogether. Hence, an unserved complaint until the very end...
