Im not sure if that's a consensus but those who do this for a living and I've been learning some stuff from that is working better than what I original come up with sometimes has a different opinion from someone trying to hustle people on a message board for their shares.

You probably do have 1/2 mill in stocks or you don't. You might have advanced knowledge of peoples thought process on hype. I think I'll read articles that explain things from unbiased people that do not have a personal gain in what they are referring too.

Example?

The first paragraph of this article even explains benefits of holding thru the split even the article indicates its good to sell before:

The Advantages of Selling Stocks Before They Split

At face value, stock splits shouldn't matter. When you trade one share of a $100 stock for four shares of a $25 stock, it's essentially the same thing as turning a dollar into four quarters. However, stocks that split tend to be strong performers after splitting. With this in mind, selling before a split is usually a bad decision, unless you're not positioned to hold a stock that is more likely to appreciate

If you have good knowledge from experience or something you could share to keep people from loosing what they worked hard for, then im sure it would be appreciated.

I don't know much but I do know any useful legit knowledge is soaked up, but crap can be smelled....
