It could be nothing more than MMs providing the liquidity on their own books. They can easily assume the bid and ask side of the trade. Nothing prevents them from putting their own capital into the mix and even placing it on the short side of the trade. MMs are pesky that way...but they do not often do this with such a low float and you simply never know, given they do not have to show a retail order versus a MM order in any manner, not to mention the share sizes.

I will add to my previous post, another reason I exit securities is inaccurate share counts displayed (within reason). NITE often being the largest offender. If 500 is displayed and 500 order hits the bid or ask and it does not move out of the way, I get very interested...if it continues, I will quickly plan an exit from given security.
