Buckie: may I repeat? Uncovered = Naked. Naked shares occur when shares are sold without the benefit of shares to cover the transaction, either borrowed or registered/real. Since regulations prevent borrowng shares to cover short shares when trading Pinkies, all sales without a coresponding buy is an uncovered position. Get it yet? All Pink Sheets listed on Reg SHO are naked short shares. They are illegal. They go against regulations and therefore are listed on Reg SHO. What is so hard to understand here?
