Although the DOJ and the Courts were completely innefective against MSFT, the publicity revealed their buillying and bakckmail for what it is (“How much do we have to pay you to screw Netscape?”). MSFT has never been able to compete on a level playing field, much less against Steve Jobs. There’s nothing and nobody in Redmond that suggests things have changed.
