I disagree with "TA led you to bad trades" , it just does not make an iota of sense.

TA is also very complex and to say such aberration is saying ALL did not work which is preposterous.

Then same minds say "algos this and algos that" do work ...which is mere complex TA integrated into a program.

I have seen some TA failing OCCASIONALLY , just to come right back on line.
Let's take for example a resistance which is TA. It doesn't say anywhere that has to hold indefinitely. So if it is violated and it breaks it doesn't mean it fails, but is a case of NORMAL evolution of TA elements, so in this case the resistance transforms and becomes support. So it's not failing whatsoever.
Same for MAs.

Let's look at an indicator. If it "fails" to show a top, obviously YOU need to set it aside and switch to another indicator or time frame. It's like your odometer on the car that goes downhill and exceeded the car's odometer limit of showing speed. The odometer handle will be glued to the max because that's the physical limit, but it doesn't mean it's broken or ...leads you astray!

Just think before throwing such...
