Too bad they couldn't feast on the produce of Iceland's banana "plantation." It is against the law in Iceland. Only staff and students of the university experimentally growing bananas in a small section of a geothermally heated greenhouse are allowed to eat the fruit. Years earlier commercial banana production was discussed but nothing has ever come of it.
