GALE Management Has Set the Perfect Bear Trap

GALE PR 3/29/16:
"We are pleased that we have achieved this important milestone in the PRESENT trial and that the rate of recurrences are in line with the original assumptions that led to the study design,” stated Bijan Nejadnik, M.D., Chief Medical Officer. “Reaching the 70th qualifying DFS event triggers the pre-planned Interim Analysis. We will now prepare the data package for the IDMC..." and then wait for "its recommendation on continuing the trial. We anticipate reaching this next milestone in the PRESENT trial at the end of the second quarter".

??? What happened to 6 to 8 weeks for a normal IDMC Review ???

Okay, this leads to the Biq Question, why so long? Only short fools will take this timetable at face value IMO. It normally takes 6-8 weeks for an IDMC Review, not 3 months. In sum I believe it's a classic case of GALE mgmt playing the UPOD game, Under Promise, Over Deliver. They are being ultra conservative due to the follies of the old mgmt team & bought GALE twice the time needed to fend off accusations of under delivering.

70th event PR was March 29 plus 6 weeks = May 10. THAT'S When the Countdown Begins & NeuVax could get a "Go to Completion" approval. The longer the IDMC Review takes the more chance the FDA is analyzing the data for possible Early Approval.

Recall the 3/32/16 Short Interest report. 21,265,728 shares shorted, an increase of 1,462,043 or +7.4%. The daily shorting since the report has been 50 to 69% of total daily volume. GALE call interest hasn't been as crazy so maybe many of the shorts aren't hedged afterall. I hope they aren't because that will be jet fuel for a GALE short squeeze. It would be Wonderful if shorts are banking on the Fraudstein-Ratain Rule which recently was smoked by the CPXX moonshot.

Count down begins May 10th, One Long's Opinion...
