The part about the design sheet is one thing. Maybe they haven't gotten around to updating it yet, or maybe it is as you say. However, you will unlikely see another announcement on availability. Flash manufacturers only make one, and that is done at the time that samples are available. As for finding parts in stock, Intel will be selling these to high profile customers for revenue long before the parts are actually available to end users such as yourself.
