Fortunately our football program pays for the rest of the athletic programs and we remain one of the top research schools in the country.

I despise their political POV starting with affirmative action. That is the root of academic decline in this nation. It didn't raise up the ghetto kids, It just dragged down the standards for everyone else.

It also bothers me is that parents today focus on their kids' athletic ability as the means to a scholarship not on their little pea brains. Therein lies a big part of the problem. JMO

Bread and circuses. Guess I should give up and go with the flow.
