Sharyn Alcaraz is a Chief Legal Officer with more than 18 years of practice as a lawyer in both complex business litigation, corporate and commercial transactions, and more than a decade in the healthcare sector. Ms. Alcaraz has served as in-house counsel to general acute care hospital systems, and specialty pharmaceutical company and biopharmaceutical companies. Ms. Alcaraz is the former Chief Legal Officer of Pacific Health Corporation and Prime Healthcare Services and the former General Counsel of Alta Healthcare System LLC (now Prospect Medical Holdings). She currently serves as contract counsel to Peregrine Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and Temporary Senior Grants & Contracts Officer with the Industry Sponsored Research Office of Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.
