As a current patient of a urologist, during my recent visit I asked my doctor about the 4kscore test. He indicated his office (the largest group of urologists in Naples) now uses the test on a regular basis. If you recall back a year or so ago, he never heard of the test until I demanded he have it done on me. At that time, the test was not covered by insurance and I paid for it myself. He indicated the test is now part of most patients exam and considered necessary in the diagnosis of prostrate cancer. This is quite as change from just a year or so ago.

Ps: On a personal note, the 4kscore test results were bad and I had to under go many radiation treatments to cure the prostrate cancer. I am presently cancer free, but have some unpleasant effects from the radiation treatments.
