I do enjoy your challenges and rebuttals as I gives me the opportunity to familiarize you with the fact that the Navy is very aware of SGLB. I present the following evidence.

1) Sigma Labs was awarded a contract by the US Navy for rapid qualification of parts made using Direct Digital Manufacturing (DDM).

2) Mark Cola presented at an Additive Aerospace Conference in 2013 with the U.S Navy is attendance.

3) Victor Cunningham Lieutenant Commander, United States Navy B.S., Auburn University, 2004; Christopher A. Schrader Lieutenant, United States Navy B.S., Worcester State, 2004 and
James (Trae) Young Lieutenant Commander, United States Navy B.S., Virginia Tech, 2004
wrote a study This study examines additive manufacturing (AM) and describes its potential impact on the Navy’s Supply Chain Management processes. The purpose of this study was designed to provide the Navy with a recommendation based on an in-depth industry case-study analysis.
They said that the ultimate goal in certification should be “in-process,”
“self-certified,” or “on-machine acceptance and qualification” and recognized that In February 2013, Sigma Labs, Inc. filed a provisional patent that will enable real-time, onmachine measurements to meet very strict guidelines that will provide rapid qualification and certification of parts.
Sigma Labs was the only company mentioned in their research to provide this capability.

I'll say that certainly qualifies as the Navy being very aware of SGLB and it's not based on my personal opinion but facts; thus my statement is not

absolutely, positively out of bounds
