The combined products will provide an integrated solution for bandwidth management, security analysis and Internet traffic reporting on the activity of an Inktomi Traffic Server platform.

As part of the alliance, WebTrends has developed a software profile for Firewall Suite specific to the Inktomi Traffic Server platform that allows Traffic Server customers to receive customized analysis on network activity, specifically relevant for monitoring and managing Traffic Server deployments. The Inktomi Traffic Server solution has also been enhanced and certified in the WebTrends Enhanced Log Format (WELF) program, ensuring complete and accurate analysis as well as compatibility between future versions of Traffic Server software and Firewall Suite.
