Say I start a company. It's a website, my friend is the developer and I market and we both provide the funding. More people come on board, more money invested. It takes a lot of money to get us started and every time we are set to grow we need more money.

Man I gotta tell you, we all exhausted our funds we need more money... So we find investors and we use that money to get what we need done.

So our investors don't see any return and they are upset. We truly care for them because they have helped us so much and believe in us. However when you look at it, we have put millions of our own money into our project and average investor a few thousand to maybe $10,000.. Investors aren't seeing we are in the hole even more than them with everything riding on our success. Investors don't see the hard work we are putting into our company. We have to keep pushing to better ourselves and focus on the business at hand so we do and continue to do what we can because everything is falling into place and it's coming together. Otherwise, why even continue if we didn't see the value in what we were doing?

I would expect once we were doing really well, bringing in a ton of revenue and using that revenue to reinvest and pay ourselves and shareholders back then we can invest in the common market.
