So I just went back and watch some videos of Yellen on that day and then it clicked.I remembered something!
After it was over I was watching CNBC on computer to see what the talking heads had to say and was also switching back and forth on TV between Bloomberg and Fox Business.
There was one thing they kept bringing up and I remember it very clearly.
It was when Yellen said, she did not consider the December decision a mistake.
Talking heads were like, well no one asked you that question,so why bring it up. They really were harping on that one sentence.
Was it a slip up to even bring it up or was she defending her decision because others were against it?
As you know, wall street is always trying to read between the lines whenever the FED speaks,to try and catch something that isn't obvious,to get a heads up on what is and what might come down the road.
Now,what did they (movers and shakers) gather from that one sentence. Did she actually believe what she said or not.
