You may very well be correct, however
We need to understand how this all works. Not always are the shares you sell, your shares, many times they are lumped with others shares, which the market maker could be holding. Same goes for buying, were not always buying anything other than MM owned shares. So the MM could have bought outright, your shares, and are selling other shares they hold.
There is a lot more going on back there than just clicking a selling / buying. Sure these are not constant rules, but something to think about. I don't claim to be 'in the know', but there are some things we pick up on after a while.
