Just a FYI about WGAT which is WorldGate Communications on Nasdaq. WGAT created the Ojo, a video telephone which won the coveted Best of Innovations in Design and Engineering Award at the 2005 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.

That led to articles in virtually every technical publication on the planet and now purchases of the Ojo exist in many countries all over the world.

The Ojo can be seen at the www.wgate.com website and there are two versions, each with identical video and audio quality. As you will see the LCD screen is held vertically at eye level which provides a high resolution picture enabling a natural face to face visit which is profoundly realistic because the audio is synchronous with a one sixth of a second delay which is not perceptible.

The Ojo operates over broadband cable or DSL and costs just $14.95 a month for unlimited video telephone calls worldwide. No per minute charge. Flat rate so you can "visit" with no concerns about cost beyond the flat monthly or annual fee. That accounts for huge potential recurrent revenue.

There are many who will buy this product both in the USA and elsewhere and it is conceivable there will soon be millions of phones registered. Do the math.

Deals have been announced with British Telecom which will offer the Ojo to customers in 170 countries. Intersonics is a Internet Service Provider or ISP which uses BT lines and offers a free Ojo to any subscriber who signs a three year contract.

Mototech is the assembly plant whose owner has a substantial stake in WGAT and is now distributing the Ojo in ASIA.

Alta Vista markets the Ojo in Central America.

Early buyers of the Ojo awoke one morning to discover that their phone had a new feature downloaded by WGAT, callers are invited to leave a video message! Other new features will be similarly downloaded to all owners of the Ojo in the future.

The Ojo does not require a computer. Just plug the Ojo into a modem or router and register with ojoservices and you can use it to call loved ones who live at distance and own an Ojo. In fact the Ojo can be plugged into any wall outlet of your home with an ethernet cable and will work as well if you have attached another ethernet cable to your modem and plugged it into another wall outlet. So you can use the Ojo out by the pool, the porch, the deck or any room in your home. Your kids might be using the computer with a webcam to talk to their friends in the computer room while you talk with your friends anywhere in your home.

WGAT second Q earnings report due out before middle of August. Stock closed at $1.34 on Friday.

Float is only 39M shares and institutional ownership is about 8% Worth a look and DD can begin at www.ojoworld.com and www.wgate.com

Least expensive source of the Ojo or the Shadow Ojo (black satin finish, didicated to video, no phone plug for audio calls, and no detachable cordless phone but $100 less MSRP) is 101phones.com
