Do you support Trump? Tell the world with this magnetic bumper sticker: “DONALD TRUMPS THE REST”

Diego Saul Reyna, a friend of the crew now working on the building, took a picture of himself flexing in front of the Mexican flag on Saturday and then posted it on Facebook.

“Why did I put a Mexican flag on the roof of Trump Tower Vancouver?” the steel worker originally from Chiapas, Mexico, asked. “[F]rom the concrete pouring, finishing, drywall, taping, wood forming and general labor, Mexicans were there, building it, doing good work. The comments Trump has made about us did not stop us from doing the high quality work we have always done in our home country or when we migrate to the US/Canada. […] Mexicans didn’t steal anything nor raped [sic] anyone. We just did the best work we could possibly do, for ourselves, our families and the future tenants in your building.”

Reyna then asked social media followers for help sharing the post so that it would reach the billionaire. He then told Huffington Post British Columbia that his political statement was made as a way of shielding friends from retribution.

“They kept telling me their frustration, their anger and their hurt but they can’t say anything,” Reyna, 30, told the website. “I did it because I don’t work there. I’m not concerned about Trump rising to power. I’m concerned about his values and his points of view extending to our country.”

The new tower will have 147 guest rooms, 218 private residences, a champagne lounge and “Vancouver’s first pool bar nightclub” upon completion, Trump Organization’s website says.

Trump, the current front-runner for the Republican Party’s 2016 presidential nomination, has repeatedly said he has no problem with legal immigrants. The billionaire’s policy proposals, like a massive wall along the U.S. border with Mexico, are aimed at stopping a massive influx of illegal aliens into the country.

The Department of Homeland Security says there are approximately 11.5 million illegal immigrants in the U.S.
