More customers buy iPhones from third-party retailers, WSJ says
More U.S. customers are purchasing Apple's iPhones from third-party retailers instead of directly from the company, the Wall Street Journal reports, citing a report from Consumer Intelligence Research Partners. New research from Consumer Intelligence claims that 11% of iPhone buyers in the U.S. bought phones directly from Apple in 2015, down from 16% two years ago, the report says. Over the same period, the share of U.S. iPhones purchased at stores and websites operated by wireless carrier increased to 76% from 65%, the report says
