Thanks for the response. You are right about "insider information." However not all "insider information," are created equally. For example, CPXX is one of my recent trades about a couple of weeks ago. Needless to say, a hedge fund manager bought this stock almost one week prior before the announcement of the data. I am sure that was no coincidence, he knew about the approval from the FDA and the stock went parabolic. This particular hedge fund, place $8 million dollars on the premise that the FDA will approve. If that's not insider trading, then what is? Believe you me, insider trading is still happening, but with a different approach. It's like car burglars, they always find a way to still cars, no matter how advanced technology or car securities are, they are prepared and approach every car differently. So, essentially some tickers are being manipulated by the insiders any way you look at it.
