Welcome to the board, Vizcoinc. I have Scottrade too. I called them today and spoke with a broker who assured me that there was nothing I needed to do as regards the symbol change, etc. but that there will most likely be a delay of up to a week before we can resume trading online after the merger. She said that we could trade by phoning it in during that time. Whether the fee would be the same I didn't think to ask. I plan to call again on Monday and clarify some of this for myself & will be happy to post what I find out. I would strongly urge you to call them yourself and ask whatever questions you have about this (or any other issues) as often as you need to. They've been pretty helpful to me as a newbie trader. Post what you find out & we can compare next week. GLTY.
