Yeah, exactly.

This has been looking a little dicey lately.
They haven't issued the preferred on time.

Also, both of their bonds are paid on April, 15 and are currently trading at $8/100. If you bought today you'd have to pay the 172 days of accrued interest and take all of the risk that they will make the interest payment. Taking that risk off someone else hands. I've already done that but the situation looks a little more questionable since then. you can simply wait till the 18th and call your broker and ask did they make the interest payment, then you've got a clean slate to work with (no accrued interest).
