Mr. James B. Nelson, also known as Jim, has been the Chief Executive Officer of Sunworks, Inc. (formerly known as Machine Talker Inc.) since October 4, 2010, President since August 31, 2012 and serves as its Chairman of the Board. Mr. Nelson served as Interim Chief Financial Officer of Solar3D, Inc. since August 31, 2012. He served as Principal Accounting Officer and Secretary of Solar3D, Inc. He served as the President of Solar3D, Inc.since October 2010. He served as a General Partner at Peterson Partners LP from 2007 to 2009 and Millennial Capital Partners (previously known as Invest West Capital) from 1991 to 2010. He worked as an executive of a number of portfolio companies. He served as Chief Executive Officer of Euro-Tek Store Fixture, LLC, Chairman of the Board of American Retail Interiors, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Panelview Incorporated., and Chairman of the Board of CCritical Power Exchange Corp. Mr. Nelson served as Managing Director of Millennial Capital Partners for 15 years. In addition to his private equity responsibilities within MCP, he served as the Chief Executive Officer of two portfolio companies and as the Chairman of two Boards of Directors. He served as Vice President of Marketing, Planning, and Development at both Saga Corporation/Marriott Corporation. He served as Vice President of Marketing at Banana Republic (ITM) Inc./The GAP. He spent more than 30 years with Bain & Company Inc., where he consulted with companies in the consumer products, information systems, service, and manufacturing industries. He served as Chairman of the Board of O'Currance Teleservices, Inc. since March 2007. Mr. Nelson has been a Director of Sunworks, Inc. (formerly known as Machine Talker Inc.) since October 4, 2010 and Solar United Network Inc., since January 2014. He served as a Director of O'Currance Teleservices, Inc. Mr. Nelson holds an M.B.A. degree from Brigham Young University, where he graduated, summa cum laude, and was named the Outstanding Master of Business Administration Graduate.
