But an IPO price is set based on the number of shares ALREADY sold at a fixed price. The money is paid by the INVESTORS (not the company) to the company. Not the other way around. You are not receiving shares here you're allegedly receiving cash. There is a HUGE difference. The stock market can be as simple or as complicated as you make it. But one axiom that always stands true over the course of time from every bear market to every bull market - if something looks too good to be true, it probably is. I hope Rufus is flying to the Caymen Islands right now. If he's not I'm sure the SEC will be banging down his door any minute.

I also can't believe how dumbfounded the average investor here is. It's one thing to say, "yea, things look pretty fishy, but I'm enjoying the ride!" It's another to totally downplay this whole fiasco.
