To be fair, when Rick attacked the satellite station, they had no proof they were attacking Negan's people. They took the Hilltoppers word for it, and they're leader isn't the swellest of guys either.
They went in and killed a bunch of people in their sleep. Not exactly like they were being aggressive. Perhaps, almost everyone left falls under Negan's rule. Think Julius Caesar.
I thought Negan was being pretty fair with Rick's crew. Only killing one? And Rick has killed so many of his.
So, does Rick cower down and buckle under Negan's rule, or go back even more stubborn to get everyone killed? Again, reminds me of the feudal days, with one king and many lower end royals.
Now, who has Rick brought in? Originally he turned away Sasha and her brother. It was only after they took Rick's side vs the governor he brought anyone in. Even Abraham and his small group got in through someone before Rick, was it Glenn? Can't recall.
No, most of Rick's group now, were Alexandrians and Rick's original people. He stopped being open minded long ago.
