We have relatives in Ny on my wife's side.. My mother in law grew up in the Jewish section of the Bronx. She is 76 now. We also have extended family in NJ. A good friend of mine who opened a fine diner the Osteria is from Long Island. He has done extremely well with the restaurant. I know the Bronx has changed since she was a young girl. She married after she finished college and moved to Milwaukee. She has been in the nursing field all her life, even now. She went to Columbia and my wife's sister too. My friend attended the CIA prior to moving here and then went thru an apprenticeship in Italy. The food is great!
