Someone mentioned 8-Ks. I'm no expert on corporate of securities law, but if receipt of those patents was material, and Facebook has indeed received certain IPs already, wouldn't they have filed the 8-K by now?

Not necessarily. In fact, probably we'll never see an 8-K about this from Facebook. Facebook is a very large company, worth billions. It cuts deals with many smaller companies. The cost of those deals, compared to the value of Facebook's assets, is not material. So no 8-K is required.

And Facebook has in fact never mentioned Novint in any of its 10-Ks.
