I read the whole issue of preferred stocks differently, from my take they are subject to the r/s also but because they are preferred they will retain there original share count but be then converted into common stock. So if there is 2 mil of preferred stock there will be 2 mill after. They don't get a "bonus" because the company went thru a r/s. They get to keep there original position but they are now common shares. So common share float will be about 4 mil, of course dilution to finance projects will occur but I'm OK with that.
