Instead of just picking a side and bashing or pumping this yo gabba gabba thing lets just put it all together:

The Good:

- 2016 Daytime Emmy's: Nominated for "Best Pre-school children's series"
source

- 2010: For some reason Yo Gabba Gabba performed at Coachella...? Weird
Source

- 2010: "Creative Content Award" for their tour
Source

- The Television Critics Association Awards have nominated Yo Gabba Gabba! for Outstanding Achievement in Children's/Youth Programing. The years include 2008-2012. Yo Gabba Gabba! won for the year 2009 and 2010
Source

- February 2013, Yo Gabba Gabba! won two Kidscreen Awards for "Best Non-Animated or Mixed Series 2013" and "Best Music 2013"
Source

The Bad:

- Have not been resigned for a 5th season as of yet
Source

- Have not aired any new episodes since 2012
Source

On a few side notes and comments on other posts that have been floating. Some have stated that they are doing "real DD" by asking a group of like 100 kids or something and seeing if they know what Yo Gabba Gabba is. This DD is highly irrelevant. We don't know any statistics or demographics on the children you are asking. I could ask 100 ten year olds what Yo Gabba Gabba is and they would not know...why? because this is for Pre-school aged children. Hence the daytime Emmy Nomination for Best "PRE-SCHOOL"children's series.

IMDB.com has roughly 30 or so reviews of the Yo Gabba Gabba series and almost all of them are positive. While this is a small number of reviews, it still tells a better story that is actually proof of positive reviews rather than a IHUB member claiming to talk to other parents and posting it.

Is this a good deal or not? We'll find out soon enough. It seems as if the show is on it's way out and that's why the deal looked so sweet on paper. Their products are not available internationally but the TV Show is aired internationally. Yo Gabba Gabba does not just have this TV show or the products. It also sells books, sells music records, and does live touring. Does this all play into the deal that Vanis got? or is it strictly the beverages? That maybe a good DD point to start, if Vanis and Co are getting revs from the "other" stuff that Yo Gabba Gabba is involved in, then this makes it much better. I do not believe that the Beverages are generating millions of dollars as others have stated.

All of the above is my opinion and my opinion only. I used sources easily found on the internet to provide actual data to support my ideas.
