I have SCOTTRADE. TD AMERITRADE will take all my other stocks. They advised to sell and re buy with them. They will not transfer existing share.

I assume this scenario would make purchase fees.

My problem with this whole thing with SCOTTRADE is very simple-----they changed the rules, to benefit themselves only.

With a company doing this, what may they change at any given time?

This is entirely an "in house" decision.

You are at the mercy y of their employees who are making decisions for you much as an investment counselor would.

To my knowledge , nobody that had Redg with them was notified of this.

What if Redg has a bounce, you sell, by close it drops again------you can't buy back in---PERIOD.
