Anyone go to the Engineering of Advanced Materials Conference in Germany the past 3 days?

Looks like there was a pretty extensive preliminary program around Electron Beam Additive Manufacturing:

What is most impressive to me is the quantity and quality of the international research. No company could afford this type of internal R&D. As the science matures, novel applications will become evident.

I'm thinking it will not be long before Renee announces relationships with auto manufacturers. That seems the natural next
application.
