you are right about fragmentation. a lot of synergies are lost!! I mean by spinning off CTBG, they now have to add HR, Acctg/Fin, Mktg/Sales..etc functions!!! However keep in mind probably they probbaly can grow much faster and their product/application portfolio could be distinct revenue generators as well as grow rapidly!
