They left the Clozapine safety points slide up for a long time while poking holes in Pima.
How will the FDA approve something that they are actively demonstrating why the committee should give a thumbs down.
You also have to remember that big Pharma, such as the manufactures of the competing drugs will actively bribe FDA officers and AdComm members. Something I had thought about during my short thesis, however they are being so negative at the meeting, nearly machine gunning Pima, that I'm now confident this is also at work. Acadia is not fighting the slams either, they are fumbling with responses and even looking at each other as if to say "how do fight these guys? Their points are valid".
