The Socceroos will be looking to finish top of their World Cup qualifying group as they welcome second-placed Jordan to Allianz Stadium. Join us at The Roar from 8pm (AEDT) for all of the action.

Australia arrive in Sydney fresh off a 7-0 demolition of Tajikistan last Thursday night. Although that scoreline should have been even more emphatic, the Socceroos proved they were worthy winners of the Asian Championship a year ago.

Debutant striker Apostles Giannou showed some positive signs up front despite not getting his name on the scoresheet, while Aaron Mooy carried his fine A-League form to the international arena.

Those who did get among the goals were captain Mile Jedinak, Massimo Luongo, Mark Milligan, while both Tom Rogic and Nathan Burns bagged doubles. The clean sheet was another bonus on the night, with our back four and keeper Mat Ryan rarely troubled.

A win or even a draw against Jordan tonight will keep Australia top of their World Cup qualifying group.

Jordan went one better than Australia in their Thursday night clash, as interim coach Harry Redknapp oversaw an 8-0 thrashing, which keeps them two points behind the Socceroos on the qualifying table.

A player Australia must keep an eye on is Hamza Al Daradreh, who scored a first-half hat-trick in the Bangladesh match.

Jordan proved too strong for the Socceroos last time they met, claiming a 2-0 win at home. Another win tonight would see them leapfrog the Socceroos and finish this stage of qualifying on top of Group B.

Will Australia secure top spot and dish out some revenge or will Jordan again prove too strong and snatch top spot in the process?

Join The Roar from 8pm (AEDT) for all the action.
