"Cannabis stocks continued to soar and are now up 30.2% in March. 67% of the 39 stocks tracked here rose in price, with 16 double-digit percentage gainers and 3 double-digit percentage losers. Stocks with volume above the 30-day average rose from 44% to 67%, with four stocks trading over $5mm in value. Six of the ten highest dollar-volume stocks rose in price as eight traded above $1mm. The 420 Investor Marijuana Index increased from 39.69 to 45.04, reflecting a gain of 14.8% year-to-date in 2016. The index began 2013 at 100, 2014 at 159.1, 2015 at 130.7, and 2016 at 39.25.
