Before Scores Holding numbers release, take a look at

Sex sells, it’s a fact. In 1991, Scores New York opened its doors and quickly became the first club of its kind to capture the imagination of the mainstream public. (You can believe me, I was there :)) We didn’t invent adult entertainment. We weren’t even the first to make it upscale. But for the first time, it was cool to be seen leaving a gentlemen’s club. Demi Moore, Bruce Willis and George Clooney did it. Jeanne Claude Van Damme (an actor who often played a fighter) and Chuck Zito (a fighter who later became an actor) famously brawled there. If you wanted to impress a client, close a deal, spice up your marriage, celebrate just about anything, or catch a glimpse of Howard Stern, you went to Scores. It was Studio 54 with nipples … It may have been the last nightclub-as-cultural-phenomenon of its time. But like everything, it eventually gets old, taken for granted, played out. We don’t believe the upscale gentlemen’s club will ever become extinct … As evidence, our flagship in New York likely boasts the highest PPA of any club, anywhere (some nights, as high as $1000), but nowadays, everyone is “upscale.” Frank’s Chicken House is Upscale (no offense to Frank). We may have invented it, but we don’t own it anymore … So Scores Entertainment Complex was conceived. The idea was to expand upon the meaning of Scores, to allow the first mainstream “gentlemen’s club” to encompass mainstream entertainment as well; to be sure the first “gentlemen’s club” where women felt comfortable actively appealed to women as well. It seemed like a natural evolution. It’s also a natural fit with casino resort culture; our concept appeals to bachelor and bachelorette parties, business and tourist travelers, couples and singles, high rollers and value seekers, locals and tourists, men and women. In other words, it speaks to key groups that frequent casino resorts, but also provides a draw for locals who might eschew the casinos. And since Scores is the only adult-themed club licensed in the casino environment, it provides a distinct competitive advantage. Although we’ve taken pains to expand the scope and reach of our brand, we believe the upscale adult entertainment at our core provides your resort with many distinct advantages, including: Novelty and competitive advantage over rival casino/resorts. Even in the most seasonal markets, such as Atlantic City, adult entertainment is less subject to those fluctuations, providing a year round draw. Adult entertainment produces higher PPAs than any other form of nightlife, and is not necessarily dependent upon the “volume model.” And keep in mind the following, internet-based statistics: Kelly Skillen Director of Operations
